I had been suffering with a pro-longed neck pain, which the usual prescription of anti-inflammitories and physio treatments had helped, but failed to rid me of - and to be perfectly honest the pain and restricted movement had really gotten me down.Having always had an open-mind to 'alternative' remedies, when Maxine offered me a Reiki treatment during her recent trip to the UK, I was intrigued. The first thing to say is that the session was extremely relaxing - the second is that the heat Maxine was able to generate without touching me was quite unbelievable ! The sensation was lovely, I can't think of a better word to describe it - and afterwards the movement in my neck was so much freer than it had been, and the pain had all but gone. Sadly Maxine had to return to New Zealand, so I was unable to arrange a follow up treatment, something I am now looking to do with another therapist - highly recommended!! Sally Heavens - UK
