Orewa Badminton Club is a casual, relaxed club that competes in all grades in the North Harbour Badminton Association, and is one of the few clubs in North Harbour with it's own dedicated badminton facility (erected in 2000) servicing the entire Hibiscus Coast area.

Club Nights
|
Senior club (16yrs+) 7pm onwards every Tuesday evening
Juniors (10-13yrs) 5.00pm to 6.30pm Tuesday afternoons
(14-17yrs) 5.00pm to 6.30pm Thursday afternoons
During the winter season club nights are free for members, and cost $7 for casual players.

Membership
|
$110 per year for full membership (including interclub & association fees)
$85 for social membership (no interclub).
Membership runs from April to April whereupon the annual fees are required to be paid to continue membership for the current year.

Season
|
The winter season runs from March to October. Summer club usually runs from November to February.

Court booking
|
A court card is required to access the hall & for the lights. Once in the hall, you need to wait for the digital clock to turn to "01", then present your card to the card reader for that court. This will turn on the lights for 1 hour.
Court cards can be obtained from the club, and you will need to "charge up" your card to ensure there are adequate funds to pay for your court bookings. Once you have a court card, you can make bookings through the ezybook service. You will need to join the Orewa Badminton Club (minimum $85 Social membership) to purchase a court card which enables members to play whenever they like and/or attend club nights.
Court cards are validated with annual membership fees and if the next year's fees are not paid by the end of April, the card is rendered invalid until fees are paid. Each card costs $15 to buy and then court credits are loaded at $6/court per hour. Issuing of court cards or tags are usually performed on Club nights, as is topping up of card/tag credits.

Interclub
|
We usually have A, B, and C grade interclub teams. Winter interclub normally commences in June, with teams selected during March/April.
