Vouchers must be pre paid for in full, not refundable for cash and redeemed only by the therapist you purchased it from.

Massage Therapy

For ongoing treatment on a specific area, eg legs for pre/post -event sports massage or neck & shoulders for head aches.
60 Minutes $70 *$55
Recommended duration for the initial session and ongoing treatments for general therapeutic benefits or focused injury and remedial work.
90 Minutes $100 *$85
For full body aromatherapy relaxation massage or a combination of focused deep tissue and relaxation massage.
Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD)
30 Minutes $50 *$35
Lymph drainage sequences on one specific area eg face or arms etc.
60 Minutes $80 *$60
For more in depth treatment on specific conditions eg The treatment of Migraines involve the nape of neck, full neck and face sequences.
Combined De-congestive Therapy (CDT)
Allow up to 90 minutes $90
May include compression bandaging or taping,(compression bandage kit sold separately).
For the treatment of lymphoedema.
A charge of $30 will apply for cancellations of less than 6 hours notice or a "no show", unless the appointment time is filled.

About the Therapists
Vicky McMath
|
Vicky holds Diplomas in Therapeutic Massage and Aromatherapy from the New Zealand College of Massage (NZCM). She is a registered Remedial Massage Therapist (RMT) with Massage New Zealand (MNZ),and has over 10 years experience of professional, clinical and community practice. Vicky also holds advanced training in the Dr Vodder Method of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined De-congestive Therapy (CDT), offered by the internationally recognised Dr Vodder School. These techniques are extremely helpful with pre & post surgery, soft tissue injury causing oedema, toxic decongestion, and the management of Lymphoedema. In the Silverdale clinic, Vicky shares the clinic with Chiropractor Dr Lorene Denis of Mentor 7 Chiropractic, the aim is to offer a friendly, fully integrated health care package.

Aromatherapy Massage: A full body relaxation massage with the therapeutic benefits of essential oils.
Recommended Session: 90 mins.
Pregnancy Massage: To comfort the expectant mother. A light relaxation massage to help allevaiate soreness as ligaments stretch.
Deep Tissue Massage: Treatment work, targeting specific muscles or muscle groups using techniques such as trigger point therapy, muscle release and PNF stretching. These techniques reduce hypersensitivity, muscle spasms and referred pain patterns, they also improve range of motion and flexibility.
Sports Massage: Promotes injury free training. Very helpful for pre and post event preparation and rehabilitation from injury.
A gentle rhythmic pumping, massage like treatment that aids in the removal of excess fluid from the tissue spaces.
Applications Include...
Pre Surgical: - drains the tissue and clears the lymphatic pathways for surgical intervention.
Post Surgical: - reduces swelling and bruising, also assists in the regeneration of lymphatic tissue and helps break down recent scar tissue.
Acute injury without infection, clearing inflammatory exudate and debris, eg whiplash, sprains, joint dislocation, sports injuries.
Chronic Pain, eg fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, carpel tunnel, chronic sinusitis, hay fever, headaches, migraines and tinnitus.
Allergic and immune responses: - eczema, arthritis, acne vulgaris and bronchial asthma.
CDT combines advanced Dr Vodder MLD techniques with specialised compression bandaging, and skin care. This therapy offers advanced care for clients with lymphoedema, whether from surgery, radiation, or congenital malformation. Suitable venous oedemas may also be managed with CDT.
The inflammation of tissue, following injury/surgery often results in the restriction of lymphatic flow, because the escaping fluid causes an increase of pressure in the surrounding tissue. Localised swelling (oedema) occurs, reducing the space between skin and muscle. The tape's, skin lifting property allows immediate release of pressure and lymphatic congestion.
Other effects are, pain relief, improvement of muscle function and joint support.
