What is micro-suction?
Micro-suction is the removal of wax, debris and foreign objects from an ear using a special fine tubed medical vacuum device. Obsevation of the ear is usually done with a binocular microscope, but is also performed using a videoscope or just a high-powered headlight within the aid of binoculars. The method used depends on the preference of the operator and the physical environment.
