Pukeko Therapy aims to provide professional acupuncture and treatment massage in Upper Hutt, by a fully trained therapist with professional and recognised qualifications.
Acupuncture improves health and well-being. It is known for its effectiveness in treating musculo-skeletal injuries but has traditionally been used extensively in the treatment of respiratory, digestive, gynaecological and many other chronic conditions.
Proven and effective soft tissue therapies help with stress, sore muscles, tight fascia, and postural tension.

I am passionate about acupuncture to improve your health and well-being. Because Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are a complete health care system, there is very little that does not benefit from a course of acupuncture, herbal medicine or a combination of both.
Massage is very effective to treat a wide range of problems, from stress and muscle tension to soft tissue dysfunction & injuries. But knowing what type of massage to choose can be very confusing, given the many different styles and techniques advertised nowadays. That is why I simply offer treatment massage and use a variety of massage techniques from light to deep, to release tension, alleviate pain, and make you feel better.
I specialise in acupuncture, and in remedial and sport massage. It includes myofascial release and cupping, moxibustion, accupressure, passive stretches, Chinese mineral heat therapy, trigger point and motor point therapy, and dry needling techniques, as well as taping, when necessary. I always discuss the treatment with you and work within your comfort zone to create the most effective treatment for you and obtain results.
I am currently the sole therapist.

At this stage Pukeko Therapy only accepts cash. There are ATMs in the close vicinity.
MASSAGE:

- Sport/remedial - 30 minutes: $45
- Sport/remedial - 60 Minutes: $65 – PROMOTION
- Sport/remedial- 90 minutes: $95 – PROMOTION
ACUPUNCTURE:

- Initial appointment - 60 minutes: $50 - PROMOTION
- Follow-up appointments - 45 minutes: $50
- Students, beneficiaries, Gold Card: $45 – SPECIAL RATES
COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE / CONSTITUTIONAL FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE
(includes body and facial acupuncture, herbal masks, natural products & essential oils, face massage)
- Pay as you go - 90 minutes: $130
- 8 treatments paid in advance - 90 minutes: $910 (1 free treatment)
- 12 treatments paid in advance - 90 minutes: $1,300 (2 free treatments)
SINGING BOWL THERAPY- 60 minutes: $70

Cancellation policy
|
Pukeko Therapy has a 24 hr cancellation policy. You may be charged the full fee for less than 24 hours of cancellation. This may be reduced or waived in special circumstances, at the sole discretion of your therapist.
